The place looks like it has many, many places from which you could do essentially what these people did- from inside, with barriers between them and these mutts, rather than engage them at handgun distances on the front lawn.

Why give up some of your main tactical advantages if you are obviously out numbered (cover / concealment / high ground / ready access to your other tools)?

They stop being peaceful when they break an iron gate, trespass on private property, refuse to leave and then threaten home owners. Sorry that's not peaceful. Any story that describes them as peaceful protesters being bullied by Ken and Karen has been written by a lying asshole and is part of the problem. Read the accounts of this event 90% of them try to spin it that these poor ol' peaceful protesters minding their own business were victims of intimidation by an unhinged obviously racist Ken and Karen.

The media can go to hell. If/when cw2 starts I hope people remember who fanned the flames and pushed this shit, they need to be held accountable for what they are advocating for.

The one problem these folks have now is they have brought a lot of attention to themselves .. They are a target for thieves and perhaps Antifa will make an example of them for standing up to the mob. It does not take too much to destroy that property if they have the will. Instead of tearing down statues and burning cars it is easy for them to ratchet up their game ....Could see whole city blocks go up in flames

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Several hundred protesters made a peaceful return trip Friday to the St. Louis mansion owned by a white couple whose armed defense of their home during an earlier demonstration earned them both scorn and support.
Protesters marched along the busy public boulevard called Kingshighway, which intersects with Portland Place, a private street that is the site of the Renaissance palazzo-style home of Mark McCloskey, 61, and his 63-year-old wife, Patricia.
Chanting protesters on Friday stopped at the gate just outside the McCloskeys’ home for about 15 minutes. The gate that closes the private street to non-residents and extra metal barriers blocked the entrance to Portland Place, where the protesters had walked earlier in the week on their way to the mayor’s home nearby.


Inside the gate, more than a dozen men in plain clothes walked the grounds and peered out from a second-floor balcony of the couple’s home. One protester briefly straddled an iron gate as if he was going to jump over, but did not. No one threw anything and no one behind the gates showed aggression. One man on the McCloskeys’ balcony clapped along with the chanting protesters.
