Even without lead, copper is not vastly hard to manage in a forge. Unfortunately, lead equals the weight.

I wish I could. Currently to many other priorities in fiances. They want us broke for a reason......
On a good note, I know of a few friends with large stashes who would have no problems in fair trades.

This came up in the past a number of times. Lead left in the elements oxidizes and becomes inert. Also, if there is a ban on lead bullets, mandatory clean up at public ranges (and private abandoned due to expense of clean up) is to follow. No municipality wants to be stuck with that expense. Currently mandatory lead clean up ($$$$$$$) is only for ranges that are closed for good. This actually helps keep the ranges open. Sometimes things work in our favor.

PS. Karl Marx had nothing to do with it.
