I called the State Police to clear up a few questions after Hochul's CCIA passed. UP until last fall I tended bar for a living, and have always carried a concealed handgun on me. I never drink when I work or carry. I wanted to be sure I could still legally do so. The trooper on the phone said there is no way I can do so now, sober or not. When I told him that on any given night at least half my customers are carrying, and on Ghetto Trash Night that % goes to 100, he told me that can't legally carry in the bar, either. I told him he did not understand. Very few of these guys have CCW permits, they are all carrying illegally. He wished me luck.

Well, little detail on the process that led to the arrest, other than noting he already had a warrant for his arrest, was in possession of a STOLEN firearm AND what appears to be an illegal drug!

Fuck him! Throw the book at him... I have no compassion for miscreants and don't feel just because he's exercising his 2A rights, in a very loose way, that it's a free ticket to paradise! Lol

Now, only if the prosecutors would put the guy in jail for the drugs... Yeah, there's that...
