Isn't that illegal detainment and illegal search? My son lives in Pennsylvania and the last 3 times he has come to visit the troopers have pulled him over for not having a license plate on the front of his car. They have all argued with him, told him he was wrong and when he googled it on his cell phone they were less than pleased. Twice he was pulled out of his car, cuffed, "for his safety" and his car was searched. They were convinced he had an illegal handgun and repeatedly asked him where it was. Thank God I was able to convince him to leave his legally owned handgun at home. He will no longer come to NYS and I can't blame him.
Perhaps. The question is, does the NYS Police give a shit?Isn't that illegal detainment and illegal search?
Yea, that's sketchy shit one would expect out of East Texas on I-10My son lives in Pennsylvania and the last 3 times he has come to visit the troopers have pulled him over for not having a license plate on the front of his car. did this guy leave the firearms on the seat??? Did he consent to a search?
The investigation determined that Perez-Ruiz allegedly illegally possessed multiple guns, gun parts, illegal high-capacity magazines, and ammunition in his vehicle while on the property.
you mean like the safe Act?In time this too will pass.....................guns are legal, and NYS's unconstitutional laws will fall.....the time, when a MG with silencer is being used legally for hunting.............. is not far away.

He should file a complaint with the supervisor and the AG’s office. I’m sure it will go no where but this is illegal and unconstitutional. Was he asked about being searched or his car searched? Did he give them permission? I’m guessing he was cuffed so he couldn’t record it.My son lives in Pennsylvania and the last 3 times he has come to visit the troopers have pulled him over for not having a license plate on the front of his car. He was cuffed. He just refuses to come back to NYS. It sucks, but I don't blame him.He should file a complaint with the supervisor and the AG’s office. Tell that to all of the NY Jeep owners who get ticketed in PA for no fenders.NY police can only enforce NY vehicle laws. If your home state doesn't require a front plate and/or allows window tint you can't be stopped for it by a NY cop. At least not legally.
