Maryland Police DEFY Circuit Court ruling... CONTINUE REQUIRING licenses on technicality...
I hope the judge starts issuing arrest warrants for contempt.I hope all these people get a ton of mo why for this. Nothing will happen and the left will cheer this behavior
I bet if the judge issued a bench warrant for contempt to the first officer or DA that tries to enforce that law, that tanker would stop real fast. The System, is like a 3000 foot long tanker with an insane person at the helm...........it cannot be stopped or turned unless it runs into a huge barrier or reef...........................
Until the entire Appeals Court "en Banc panel" rules............, or it is sent back down to the circuit court by them, to apply Bruen correctly.........that huge tanker will simply mow down the innocent and law abiding and ignore Buren/SCOTUS and Constitution............... until hell freezes over.
It is the communist CCP, Democratic way........ of the devil worshipping, demonically possessed, septic tank swilling, and deranged opponents of the Constitution.......... and lovers of King George and the wanna be royalty scum who inhabit so many of the occupied States.
Communism, in truth, is just another version of Feudal Rule by a King, and his unclean court.
I just read on another forum and then “fact checked” it. The law and court case only refers to the sale of firearms and not possession . Even with the court case win, you would still need a permit to carry. Cops generally don’t deal with sales at all so this decree is meaningless.
Their Statement that Maryland is the most severe and burdensome obviously hasn't looked at New Yorks's requirements, costs, and delays.I get this is what was struck down and had nothing to do with selling firearms ..

Sorry, if I made it easy to be misunderstood . What I should have said was the purchasing of firearms and not the carrying of them.I get this is what was struck down and had nothing to do with selling firearms ..

“The underlying lawsuit was filed in 2016 as a challenge to a Maryland law requiring people to obtain a special license before purchasing a handgun.”still it had nothing to do with purchasing .. its getting your HCL AKA your pistol permit ..
" A federal appeals court has ruled that Maryland’s handgun qualification law is unconstitutional.
The decision by a three-judge panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals is the latest decision in a case that began in 2016.
“Maryland’s handgun qualification law is … the most severe of anywhere in the country by far,” said Mark Pennak, president of Maryland Shall Issue. “It is the most burdensome of any enacted anywhere.” "
right from the news article
This might be a victory for all of us if Maryland appeals. It goes to SCOTUS , if they take it, and then it might apply to NY as well. I miss just being able to walk into a local gun store and just walk out an hour later after a NICS check with whatever without all the extra unnecessary paperwork and approvals. If one already has a carry permit , in my estimation, that should be enough even in NYS.the permitting process was horrendous just to be able to purchase .. just like fking NYS now ..
end the damn permitting process then you have no problem with purchasing then ..
the main thing was to get the process struck down and ruled unConstitutional .. which all permitting is ..
but the good old State Zazi gestapo wont give it up .,.
But......you're still required to get a permit. If one already has a carry permit , in my estimation, that should be enough even in NYS.
Down here in free America (the Carolinas), if you already have a CCW Permit, you can walk into a gun shop, buy a handgun, and walk out with it. If you don't have a CCW Permit, you need to fill out a 4473; they call it in, - and you walk out with said handgun.But......you're still required to get a permit.
You should be able to walk into a gun shop and walk out 15 minutes later with your gun.
If you aren't supposed to have a gun you shouldn't be walking anywhere except from your cell block to the mess hall and back.
You can!You should be able to walk into a gun shop and walk out 15 minutes later with your gun.
