I've mentioned this before. Now that this person is a felon from NY, now when they return home to PA, they are still a felon. If that's the case, the felony should only be applicable in NY if they want to go that route.again, why is anyone legal in one state, but a felon in another. why is crossing an imaginary line in the dirt, a crime.
What makes a person a danger in NY, but not a danger in Pa? This make no sense on any level
Not that it matters but NY did codify RTKBA, they just do not give a shit about following their own laws.. And for the matter, let's remember that NYS has NO 2A in it's State Constitution!
How can you honestly make fun at a time like this.OMG! The Horror! 14 Rounds!! Hopefully the cop recieves a ribbon for this one. What a waste of taxpayer money. Just imagine all the paperwork, Court appearaces and such.
Why would you let the police search your vehicle? No mention of drugs or anything else. I see no legitimate reason at least from the article.
I've been stopped a handful of times in my lifetime, and never once was I ever asked to step out or asked if they could search my vehicle. 99% of those stops were warnings (light out or something stupid).
However, the person should've known NYS laws... unless they figured Bruen made NYS Constitutional Carry... lol
Listen. He was a little low on the round count. Should have been 15+1How can you honestly make fun at a time like this.
This guy had a legitimate ARSENAL just rolling through our state!!!
Imagine what he could have done with this HORDE!!!
That damn gun was FULLY SEMI AUTOMATIC!!
NYS law cannot trump the Constitution, is this case the 4 Amendment. Say what you will but an illegal search is just that, not that it matters much in NY.Well, in NYS a search is certainly legal as implied consent is the rule when traveling via motor vehicle. And the article provides basic zilch on information that may have lent to probable cause to initiate a search, so why are we quick to rush to judgement? Lol...
Was the driver asked if weapons were present and he answered!? What other circumstances led to the stop to begin with... Etc.
States maintain their sovereignty, period! So NY just like any other State can institute their own laws. And for the matter, let's remember that NYS has NO 2A in it's State Constitution! Let's remember too, of I recall correctly, that NYS was the 3rd to LAST State to sign the US Constitution... So they never really have had the public's interest at heart, but the legislatures own interest above all. Nothing has changed... The measure and selectively implement laws to project and protect their own agenda, not that of the public's!
Bottom line is to gravitate to a State, that resonates with your beliefs and live life as the Constitution intended... Freely and in pursuit of happiness! With as little Govt intrusion as possible! Instead of a State, like here in NY, that allows you to live only by permission!
FU NY!
I believe that's why it's called "The Empire State".So they never really have had the public's interest at heart, but the legislatures own interest above all. Nothing has changed... The measure and selectively implement laws to project and protect their own agenda, not that of the public's!
