I hate driving that section of 28... people lose all sense of speed and common decency when it comes to that area.
Best time was when I was younger, and my parents were driving through that neck of the woods, and some dude passed us like we were standing still, and 2-3 miles down the road an entire deer was rammed through the dude's windshield.

My best friend who is a paramedic was first on the scene and tended to gunshot victim. As the .story goes the bikers were traveling south from Old Forge where they had been acting like complete assholes on the streets and parking lots and continued to do so on rt 28. The group of bikers, some on Harley’s ,some on crotch rockets made their way through heavy traffic passing and cutting off motorists down through Otter lake. At this point the driver of an impala decided to take matters into his own hands and chased the mob and allegedly maneuvered his vehicle in a manner that would cause one or more of the bikers to run off the road . This all came to a head at Woodgate where one of the bikers drew his glock and fired multiple rounds one of which struck the driver of the impala in his hand ending his pursuit. According to my friend the bikers got away and the gun was found on the side of the road. As for the driver of the car the Bullet went through his hand and came to rest poking out of his thumb. As far as l know this case has not been solved .
Since they are not talking about the gun much, I assume it wasn't Ny legal? If the biker was a legit p.p. holder they'd be crowing from the rafters.
So the bikers act like assholes. Call the cops?
Instead the Impala driver decided to road rage all over, driving bikers off the road and putting the public in jeapordy.
This is one of those borderline self-defense cases lawyers hate.
