It is not a derail and on point. This was an injunction against the NICS and Ammo shit taking effect today. Plans are to select Thomas for an appeal.

There is another thread about the bgc. I posted some of the ammo requirements for the bgc that they managed to put up on 9/12.

I have been spitting mad, to access their system you have to use a .gov account which is tied to a lot of business info. Info is being transmitted that if stolen, can really mess with lives. I have yet to read one word about the security of the system.

I hope Justice Thomas has a security detail.

In Liberty, NY this summer there have been 6 stabbings and a shooting reported. What has gone unreported were several drive-by shootings where no one was hit that were hushed up by the police department as well as several gang assaults. The Mobil station across the street from the elementary school and a half block from the police department is a busy drug market late at night and has been for years. Back when COBIS existed I made a comment on a nation wide firearm forum about having to wait for my new handgun to be fired at a NYSP station before I could take possession of it. It came from out of state so it didn't include fired brass for the FFL to give to the NYSP. Several people from other states commented on how a system like that couldn't possibly exist. I had to include the link to the info on NYSP's website to convince them such a debacle actually existed.
