So let's just think about those high rise apartments in "challenged" neighborhoods, where crime is rampant as well. Let's say we give every single resident there, $1 Million free and easy cash!
Tell me now, with all honesty, do you think that those residents over nite somehow become better? They move out the next day? Use the $ to better educate themselves? Invest in their future and future generations?
Or do we wind up with a good portion wondering how to relieve the others of their $millions to add to theirs? Hmmmmm? Think crime is bad now? It will be a free for all, and heaven forbid you think about stopping at an ATM, lmao!
And no, definitely not, those who reside in the bottom dwelling of income would not know how to handle a windfall of wealth like that. Money managers might have a field day, taking people's $ with a promise of returns unrealistic, but collecting good fees for trying, lol
And what pray tell, do we do when those who want the $ accept it? Is it a permanent and generations release from any future govt intervention? No more affirmative action? How do they get to double dip? No more DEI either!? And what then, is owed when it's gone, spent or otherwise? When does it end...?
It's all fucking ridiculous, especially since it wasn't only one race that was enslaved... Etc. How about the American Indians? Not enslaved but outright ripped from their lands and slaughtered! When do they get their payday then? How about American Asians who were seized and imprisoned for years during WWII and their families? Those wrongs can never be undone and we're more direct and intentional by the IS Govt than the Slave Trade...
Reparations is reap with problems, the least of which is just finding validation for giving away more free money to a special class of citizen, which is forbidden by the Constitution...
