No course or license needed. Just start hunting at sundown, no flashlights or nightvision, be sure to shoot at any sounds, then sort out the carnage in the morning.
In NY you need a hunting license, I don't know about PA.

I think you are talking about trapping (fur-barers) to hunt you need a basic hunting license.

Don't know what was up last night but the Yotes were numerous and vocal, real vocal!!!! About midnight they started, drove my dogs nuts and after a while I had to let them out, the little one was back fairly quick, the big one patrolled around till things quieted down. The next time they come around, I'll be ready. Probably go out a couple nights this week.
