I get your point and normally I would agree with that. But being that this thread is about Staten Island residents.

I just want to point out that in the 2021 election for mayor, Staten Island went Republican.
Republican Curtis Sliwa won Staten Island.

In the 2020 Presidential election, Staten Island went Republican.
Donald Trump won Staten Island.

IMO the only counties that should even be considered (at the very most) for relocation are the "blue" counties. And there are not many of those when compared to the number of "red" counties in New York State.

In other words, nothing beyond a consideration. I'm not the best at putting my thoughts into text.

But from what I can tell New York State is unfortunately a sanctuary state.

I agree. Sheriffs are voted in by county residents. Most counties don't want the illegals so their sheriff's department should be enforcing the laws.

While I don't agree that taxpayer money should be spent on illegals, all the blue counties that voted these idiots in should get stuck with the invading horde and the issues that come with them.
