Sent a letter to my Representative asking why they are not signed on to the letter, and why they are doing NOTHING to support and defend my Constitutional rights.

20% of NYS's 8 million population own guns, that 1.6 million or so..... most upstate, and most voted against Hochul and for Trump. The real number may be much much higher....say 3 million guns in the state.
NICS requests for 2021, were about a half a million, new and used.
This is an attempted PURGE, and attempt to deny us ammo.
I do not believe that it is illegal to buy ammo after Sept 13th in another state, and to personally and physically bring it across the border your self. I suspect random safety checks will happen on selected vehicles coming from Pa after Sept 13th.
Out of state ammo dealers, must have a NYS ammo license to sell to you, and to even send to a NYS FFL.............I believe that is a violation of the Interstate Commerce Clause.

Well, it's certainly another step towards PURGE and deny, little to no doubt there.
I've mentioned before that NYS will likely make it illegal to purchase ammo from another state and bring it on home, across the NY state line. NYS will probably make it a felony to do so. It's just a matter of time.
