I think people want to see it more because of the sheriff's that did not go in to help. People would be able to see and possibly hear how many shots were fired once Sheriff's were already there. It could demonstrate how many lives were lost or better put, how many lives could have been saved if they actually went in.

You know the deal, they have to keep the story about guns, not about how the fbi the failed or local law enforcement as well.
