only in NY can you get arrested for Driving while Intoxicated when your asleep ..
no one got hit .. no cars were crashed .. no one died .. no victim
sense he was sleeping in a so called drinking state .. he can't give permission to a search lol

Friend of mine pulled over and parked his car on a side street in Liverpool NY and went to sleep. He'd been drinking. Popo showed up and he ended up with a DWI, or DUI... I don't remember which. This happened +20 years ago so it's nothing new.
I got a DUI in the mid '80s. That experience certainly changed my drinking habits lol.

All firearms are dangerous (including starter pistols in NY). Most firearms in the hands of We The People are not unusual. This gun is certainly not unusual. Plastic bag to cover handle fingerprints? Seems to me that someone could cut themselves on those dangerous zip ties or suffocate on that plastic bag on the handle and you know they will pollute the environment when they are disposed of.
Which is horseshit if you're sleeping it off in the backseat in the bars parking lot. Or you recline the passenger seat and sleep there. Even if someone takes responsibility and chooses not to drive they get screwed.
Now most vehicles use fobs and push button start so as long as the fob is inside the vehicle it will start so they'll screw you on that one too.
