I think alot of little things are adding up to creating issues we see.

Labor shortages due to the gov over paying on unemployment. In my business I experienced it first hand trying to get guys to work and they openly said they are making the same or more on unemployment so it wasnt worth going to work.

This is an issue in many industries. I know there is an issue nationwide with school bus driver shortages as well that is effecting us.

Suppose it is a part that malfunctions on a regular basis. Perhaps they know that by looking at their records they go through several per month. and they want it for a customers truck .. They can hoard it for a few weeks. ... Talked to a mechanic at Penske months ago and they were having trouble getting certain parts in on a timely manner from many dealerships...

i think some one mentioned cutting out the middle man .. say like buying the chip the manufacture .. good luck if this hit the auto industry ..

a guy in NYC fixes Apple products .. Apple will not allow some chips to be sold to anyone .. .. only apple can buy them from the manufacture..

That was me and that was GM’s solution. I agree it won’t work. Of it did why didn’t they do it 18 months ago.

That seems to be in all sectors on the economy. Good! I love the fact that I have as much O.T as I can get and will be stocking up all the more while padding the shit out of my 401k.. If everyone went out in a panic and filled their tank on Monday, it would cause a temporary shortage. If everyone stuck to their usual habits, buying would be spread throughout the week and there would be no shortage.

Interesting. Haven't seen anything like that here except the TP being low, thought of course there is probably local conditions etc. to consider.

Not worried about TP personally. Have hundreds of rolls, not necessarily out of preparing more out of being cheap. If it's on sale and we have a coupon we buy it. TP doesn't expire so buying it cheap makes economic sense - we will use it eventually and we have plenty of space so....

But yeah, in general I can see shortages of things getting worse. My advice would be if you like something and you can afford it stock up, expirations accounted for.

Juicy juice juice boxes, ragu spaghetti sauce, the protein pasta noodles we eat have had very slim choices for a while now where there used to be a wide selection.

Yesterday the tp shelves were basically sold out.

As for the juicy juice, in 3 supermarkets near me there is virtually none to be had and the main one (Stop and shop) had nothing and they filled the shelves with Sunny D bottles.

It's both a govt. issue and a personal issue. I'd be ashamed to take free money like that knowing clear well I can find work tomorrow. Today's population seems to have no qualms about sucking on the govt. teet. The govt. is at fault for enabling it by giving out easy money.

No, we are at fault because we decided it was good idea to give the feds tons of money, for them to give back with stipulations -- rather than us taking care of our own communities. Stop the outflow to the fed, and their power is diminished over our lives via these givebacks.
