Streamlight TLR-4

Looking at weapon light with laser for my nightstand pistol. I'm leaning towards the Streamlight TLR-4. Thoughts?

I have used the TLR 1 for years on my night stand guns. Something with a laser would be more of a deterrent than a sighting device for me. If you put the red dot on the bad guy, everyone knows what's next. "Sorry, wrong house!"

I dont have one, but have researched a good bit on them.. id go for the tlr2 with green laser

My eyesight is at +2 reading cheaters so I need the laser. As far as a deterent....unless the bad guy is
looking at himself, he won't know where it's pointed.

at 800 lumens, I don't think the bad guy will be able to even see himself.

Bought an eBay special and its been through 500 rounds and no problems. Cost about $25.

Bought a TLR-4. What distance should I zero the laser at? 20ft.?

Streamlight make great stuff, i have a few of there flashlights.
I have read many good things about the TLR series

I just bought one used for my XDS 4.0 . Waiting for it in the mail. Now to find a holster for a reasonable price.
