I bet she is the person that would have a stupid coexist bumper sticker.

I know there are enough people that can't wrap thier head around why I carry a gun. They then complain about crimes, but will go anywhere and not think about it. My wife is one of them. She wanted to go to Jordan to help the refugees. I said fuck no. She's as white as they get. Now she wants to go to Italy to help them. I said well we will see. I told her if she goes she'd better watch her ass. I certainly don't want her to go. She will walk down grant street in Buffalo to go to coffee. She's nuts. Oh and she won't touch a gun.

I also know plenty of people who won't go near a firearm,- they are scared shitless of guns. They act like it is going to go off if they just touch it!

Sadly, a lot of it is due to ignorance and false portrayals in movies and such. I've actually seen grown adults shake with fear if offered the chance to merely hold an unloaded firearm in their hands.

My wife embraced firearms before I did.

She loves her P238 and insists, "Concealed and cocked-and-locked is the way to go."

When someone tells her that her firearm could "just go off" she let's them have it. She'll tell them to do some research on what a firing pin block safety is and then get back to her when they're better informed.
