Suggest a scope for a AR-10

I have a Aero AR-10 in 308 that I’m questioning my 1st choice of a scope. I put a 1-6 power scope thinking I’d be ok out to 200yds but I guess my eyes need more.
What would you recommend for under $300?

I also have a red dot on it in case I need to work up close and personal lol

Optics are a very personal choice...
Typically You're going to need X- or XX-High Rings or you're going to be looking through crossways.
I have 4X, 6x, and 10X Fixed power scopes on .308 sized Rifles, and honestly for my vision, I quite prefer the 10X on a 30mm Tube, especially out beyond 100yds. Early "Sniper Rifles" used lower power scopes, but the young people using them also have better vision.
The Sig "Whiskey" scopes are pretty deceit, Sightron, mid to higher end Bushnell, Folks seem to love the Vortex Line (not my favorite, again personal prefrences) stay away from the cheap, Chineasium stuff and the huge optics as they have a high failure rate...can't go wrong with Leupold, but it's going to be over $300.

I didn’t know Arken made a LPVO

They released it a couple of months ago. I had already purchased a boutique brand LPVO based off YT reviews (Vector Optics Taurus 1-6x24 FFP) otherwise I would have went with the Arken. I still may end up getting one.

As for the Vector Optics LPVO, it has surprisingly held up, it's currently mounted on my SCR.
