I have a 700 in 223 that is drilled and tapped for a front sight. I was thinking about something like Tech-Sights! Anyone have any ideas were to look?

Yes I've seen the Williams pep sights, they may work any suggestions for a front sight other the a plain blade?

I have scopes on most everything I own! This rifle has a 3-9 on it now, I don't shoot it as I have another 223 bolt gun I have set-up with a high-power scope. I just want to set up a rifle for our open-site match here on the forum!

Those globe front sights with multiple inserts work well with a peep type rear sight, but then everyone is just enough different that they make a bazillion different kinds.

I had a Williams FP aperture sight on my 7600 for awhile, and used the Remington 700 BDL front sight hood (fits perfectly bc the front sight is a common part number). Since 2004, the front sight is a one-piece with single screw, underneath there's still two drilled and tapped holes though.

Btw, just a heads up, you may wish to contact Remington and ask which front sight p/n they use/recommend for the Rem 700 in .223 Rem with their front sights, cuz they use/have available different heights.
Put a no magnification red dot on it
