Those 1 on 2500 are almost all essentially one sex with some features of the other.
True 50/50 split is very rare.
And even at 1 in 2500, it's rare enough to be considered abnormal.

I really don't care about the whole transgender thing. What bugs me to no end is the co-opting of plural pronouns. It's stupid as hell and just confuses the shit out of the language. I've seen articles where "they" was used to refer to a singular person and a plurality of persons, in the same sentence. Think along the lines of "they didn't like what they said" instead of "they didn't like what he said."
