Good article. Everyone (including conservatives I might add but most especially liberals and progressives) live in this bubble where they think everyone outside of it is this "other." The "Other" to liberal/progressive minds is almost this wild beast that has no place in polite society and should be shunned, cast down and mocked. What the big urban elites (and this includes the not-so-elite denizens of places like Brooklyn) fail to realize is that not everyone lives their lifestyle nor would want to. They may live in their version of utopia but different people have different visions of what utopia is. In short, stay out of other people's lives, let them live the life they imagine is the good life and we can all probably just get along. Too many liberals/progressives just don't get that.

For what it's worth it's a song (and a really good one at that). I don't get my panties in a bunch when Katy Perry (a big Clinton supporter) comes on the radio.
