Supply chain crisis summer 2022 (diesel shortage?)

Well guys it's time for our newest crisis to get worse.

All the impending food shortages, baby formula shortages, farming problems and fertilizer concerns etc...

Now the east coast is potentially days away from running out of or rationing diesel fuel.

I saw diesel at a station near me for 6.29 yesterday


If you drive a diesel, stock up if you have any spare cans. If you are considering buying something at the store buy it sooner than later.


This will affect everything making all these other problems that much worse.

Everything is slowly starting to fail all at the same time.


(Just wait until the western reservoirs all drop below minimum levels needed this summer and all the hydro power stations shut down) added in the additional grid strain of EVs and reduced fossil fuel plants.

I would imagine shortages of diesel would translate into shortages in supermarkets since most items are trucked to the stores. Or am I missing something?

Many farm tractors and equip run on diesel...

Freight trains run on diesel..

Diesel trucks deliver regular gas..

Etc.

Just bought groceries.

Sure full disclaimer this is the week got more dog food, paper towels, toilet paper and soap. But with that being said the rest of our food was nothing elaborate, just basic food. Nothing overly expensive like all organic. Just regular food. I did add a few extra quantities of some items to get it while it's available but I really did not go crazy at all.

Biden and their TV will tell them to blame everyone but government. And they'll believe it and happily hand over more power to the government to regulate the problem even worse.

Watch for price fixing, and the inevitable empty shelves that follow. Sure it's unconstitutional, and by the time SCOTUS gets around to ruling that, the whole place will be in ruins.
