They have some more work to do. They need to clarify which weapons are protected as 'militia' weapons, and they need a ruling on defining 'bear' arms. Would I love to see them rule that unlicensed open and concealed carry is protected as 'bearing arms'.
Yeh the US vs Miller NFA ruling is more of a ruling on what a militia arm isn't, rather than what it is. I'll have to reread the more recent rulings re: protected militia arms. I'm getting older and memory not what it used to be.Ummmmm they have done the first part. Commonly owned weapons are protected. Ones already defined by the NFA are not hence why they can stay on the NFA
Are you saying that the court is compromised with corruption and political bias? There is a "conservative" justice that is probably wavering or not solid on gun / 2nd Amend. rights. (tipping vote)
It is best to sacrifice a few liberal ass-hole states like NY,CA,CT and MA to the gun-grabber; Then to totally lose our battle for the other (vast majority) freedom states.
Maybe even 2. There is little confidence Kennedy and Roberts can be trusted to vote the way they intellectually know the Constitution clearly demands and the may compromise our nation's values for political expediency. There is a "conservative" justice that is probably wavering or not solid on gun / 2nd Amend. rights. What case would that be? Kolbe was pretty f'ing big. That decision was RIPE for reversal. They could have clarified strict scrutiny.Perhaps they are holding out for a bigger case that they expect come down the pipeline. At least that's something we can hope for. If they keep denying critical Second Amendment cases then we need to start pushing for impeachment.
And if Republicans lose the Senate or Trump isn't re-elected kiss the Second Amendment goodbye. Kolbe was a slam dunk. There is a "conservative" justice that is probably wavering or not solid on gun / 2nd Amend. rights. (tipping vote)

I dont know man, but im trying to stay positive. Im feeling very angry at how the left is so ingnorantly, and aggressively trying to take our rights away, so im trying to not feel so fucking angry! What case would that be? Staying positive is hard, especially in NY. All I see is corruption from the Supreme Court to the NYS Legislature.I dont know man, but im trying to stay positive.
