You seem to hold the opinion that people in general are getting the vaccine because they were forced to. As you said, we only get one life. That's why I got vaccinated. You are jeopardizing your life by calling it a faux vaccine.
Military, school, healthcare there have been vaccine mandates since before any of us were born and they also trumped religious exemptions. I get your point, but that's why the scotus has no interest in this topic because the country has been running with mandates for so long and so pervasively before covid.
There have been religious exemptions granted in the military and most states recognized religious exemptions for school before COVID.

Just because the religious test has been upheld in the past does not mean it is constitutional. The test of today is relying on the leaders of the major religions saying it is ok. Religion and beliefs are an individual thing and therefore the government reliance on the feelings of the major religions leaders is flawed and should be invalid when measured against the 1A. Furthermore a President’s edict in the form of a executive order has never been constitutionally validated.
I just talked to a guy that worked at a hospital and he said it’s a daily topic of discussion and disgust. He told me it’s not the new DRs and nurses that refused it’s the most experienced that have 20-30 years that are leaving. All their kids are grown and they are now traveling nurses and DRs getting paid lucrative salaries. He told me they are getting around $60/hour with all expenses paid. Good bye NY.
It is NOT a vaccine, time and time again it is proven so. It is a preventative treatment with great risk to many. There are better treatments out there with low risk! But I believe in soul liberty, have at it. Make sure you keep getting the boosters too.
Infact, the constitutional prohibition isn't on religion in government, it is specifically a prohibition on government getting to decide what *is* religion.
There is no practical approach if we rely on each person's own religion. The leaders of major religions is not perfect but if we defer to every whim and fantasy of every person the constitutional deference to religion would preempt enforcing a multitude of laws. Ludicrous religions like a nudist one could see people claiming religious exemption from being clothed while in public, or a fast and furious religion that prohibits people from driving at the speed limit. Beliefs can be an individual thing but it's impossible for the government to navigate all religious claims.

The alternative is the government getting to pick and choose which religions are legitimate and which aren't. That is obviously the very thing prohibited by the 1A.
