Survival videos

This is black Scout survival, any has a pretty good you to channel. I've been following him for quite some time and I've seen many of his videos. I think he doesn't pretty good job in covering different things related to survival. I'm posting this is a piggy back to the other thread I just started about survival training. I think there's a lot of value to self teaching through what watching videos reading and then implementing and practicing.

Glad to see that you are opening threads on interesting subjects.
I did a small survey here on emergency plans and we found many people are interested to
discuss and learn more around these tactics.
I am doing some research in tarps to see if I can shave weight.
The ones that I like and most durable are heavy and the ones that are lighter
are not durable enough and do not repair well. Anything you find and/or ideas are welcome.
I heard of kevlar tarps but never got to see nor try one.

The tarp is the best thing ever. I am quite happy with the burrito shelter. I have done
that many times and have a few versions depending on situation/ needs.

Absolutely my friend. We need to have more good topics of discussion besides politics only.

For my get home bag I currently have a small ponch and a couple of black construction garbage bags. In a pinch I could use either one of those to make the roof of a shelter if need be. But a good tarp in a survival situation is a huge piece of gear that can help.

Interesting stuff but I'm more concerned/interested in learning more about urban situations. I would feel comfortable enough surviving and evading in the woods but in a shtf situation I would have to get there first. Great topic though.
