Sutherland Springs shooting victims reach tentative $145M agreement with DOJ
The victims of the 2017 Sutherland Springs mass shooting have reached a "tentative settlement" with the Justice Department, attorneys said.

Says the air force is 60% responsible for failing to report the shooters assault conviction. I can see their argument to a point. It's still the result of the actions of an individual that chose to murder people.
Based on that logic anyone in NY that's injured by a criminal out on this stupid bail reform would have grounds to sue the state.
"The Sutherland Springs families are heroes. The country owes them a debt of gratitude," Jamal Alsaffar, lead trial attorney, said in a statement.
This quote annoys me. I feel bad for anyone that was affected by the shooting but I wouldn't call them heroes. What about our service members that come home injured? Where's the gratitude? Where's the help they need? They're the real heroes but they get shit on.
