SW 442 Grips Broke

So tonight I was cleaning my SW442 and upon taking the stock grips off I realized the plastic housing around the brass threaded piece was broke.now the grips can not be screwed down enough. So long story short I need new grips.

Does anyone have any recommendations of grips they use? I did send SW an email not sure if they'll send me a new pair or not.

I had a similar problem with grips on a model 60 and they sent out a new set. If you want wood grips, take a look at Altamont Grips. I have Hogue wood grips on my 642 but if I hadn’t found them at the price I did, I would have gone with a set from Altamont.

Those grips from altamont are very nice looking for sure and they have a ton of different styles. Thanks for that recommendation.
