One of my ancestors was a commander of a black Civil War regiment. One of my relatives (his direct descendant) still has the sword. Pretty bad ass if I do say so myself.
I think about this a lot. Sometimes I want to say to these things "you have no idea what your ancestors sacrificed to win their freedom and end slavery. They also experienced real racism...not the petty BS you claim triggers you. You more access to resources and education than any one of your ancestors...so why not get you pants off from around your ankles, learn to talk like a normal person with proper English, stop doing drugs and spitting out kids and you'd be amazed what doors will open for you."
Come to think of it...that message to could apply to any young person regarless of color.
