Well I got back from Syracuse about 2 hours ago a stopped at my local watering hole for a few cold PBR's ! I am glad I got to meet @dsdmmat and @Doc8404 and @Bullet Guy who I see at the Saratoga show, though a short hello as the guys I rode out with were ready to go for lunch.

I did pickup some Fiocchi 40gr 223 that my Howa seemed to like, A cheap red-dot that I want to try on my Browning Buckmark and a Hogue rubber grip for my MP Shield.

I did see a Ruger 96/44 for $750.00 that did interest me but funds were a little short this time around!

So maybe I can make the Spring Show next year if it doesn't fall on the same weekend as our Appleseed as it has in the past!

Yeah had a good time meeting @Doc8404 and @nortatoga. Saw some nylon 66 rifles a couple models that I wanted when I was a kid. I didn't have the cash this time. I am still hesitant about buying a childhood dream gun just in case it doesn't live up to my expectations. One day maybe. Talking to @Bullet Guy is alway a good time. I don't know how he handles some of the questions but man is it fun to watch them get asked.

I just was checking on Gunbroker , A friend that I rode out to the show with picked up a nice Ruger #1 in 30-06 for $690 cash! Looks like he got a pretty good deal. After we left we went to a little place called the Limp Lizard for lunch really good beacon cheese burger and fries!

The three hour drive each way seemed to fly with 3 guys talking about guns! Looking forward to next time!

I remember it when there was a ton of old military stuff. Old pins and patches etc...mid-80s.

back in the late 70's early 80's i remember buying canon fuse by the foot .. all kinds of old stuff was there, dummy grenades( banned now ) .. me and dad split up to look around .. found a mag
for the old moss 22 rifle , 7 shot mag .. wanted way to much .. see ya .. found carbide for canons ... all the fun stuff .. i think back then vendors had black powder to sell , just had to be stored out side of the Dome in Rochester ... ... now there are so many restrictions on when you can bring and sell ..

I love the Rochester Ad .. no cameras ... yeah .. how many were there with smartphones .. REALLY!!! .. I LMAO .. ahhh a FUDD Event LOLPMP
i went anyways and had a good time hanging out with a friend .. got some #10 caps for my BP pistol .. last table of the show LOL ..
love my 44cal BP cap gun .. LOL ..

lets just rent a farmers field for a weekend and bring all the fun stuff back to a show ..
