I always enjoyed going to the Syracuse gun show. The ones in Fayetteville are about 1/8 the size of it and not a lot of vendors to choose from.

I'm planning on going Saturday morning. I don't have much hope for any deals, but it's always fun to look. I'll probably buy the usual, some bullets for reloading and some pickles lol
Hopefully the guy from NJ back in the annex where the Pickles are will be there; he has good deal on bullets, brass, and (if available) Primers.

Man. I haven't been to that since before universal background checks. I remember going on Sundays to look for deals cuz dealers didn't want to haul stuff back, and seeing a brand new Ruger Mini 14 for $475. Those were the days.
Yes, Nick should be there, that's who I check first. Really nice guy,I've seen him at a big show outside Philly a couple of times too, where he was able to sell primers (and other people had powder, unlike NY).

A friend of mine called another friend about these , he thought it was $225.00 for a case of 5000! Second friend said recheck that price sure enough that was for 1000 not 5000!!

Rolled up to show at 10 am. Line was at least a 2 hour wait. Turned around and left.

So what was it,$15 per 100 is $150 per 1K or "just" because you wanted a full case it was $225? Or were these 2 different vendors? I wouldn't have paid either price I guess I'm just wondering, LOL I'm sure some saps paid those prices and that just makes the shitheads keep their prices high, Oh well glad I don't need any, just sucks for the peeps that are desperate and can't load or shoot. Times are tough!
It was overpriced for most items, especially firearms. Ammo was high but less than it has been, although I can't call $0.48 a round for 9mm per 1000 "low" by any stretch. I did get my buddy some 7.62 x 39 which was expensive for that round but not crazy ($12 or $15 per 20). Vendors were making a big deal about Tula etc not going to be available much longer, which made me laugh as they jacked prices on it. I talked to my buddy Nick at NE, who's the bullet guy in the back room about primers, he says he can get them but for the price even he has to pay if he was stocking them people would think he was gouging, and he doesn't want to get that kind of reputation. His prices have increased but not sickenly, and I was able to buy some bullets for a couple of calibers I needed.
I got there at 830 yesterday and they still had gate 2 open, I actually had the best parking spot I've ever had for one of these. I had to wait 15 minutes once the doors opened and then I was in. No one was enforcing any mask wearing at all, I would say only 5-10% of people were wearing them.
I of course got the obligatory pickles and pepperoni.

Firearms were at stupid prices for a gun show. ( IMO) Nobody wanted to even entertain talking / haggling for a reasonable price. So, I came back home with $1000 in my pocket and the vendors that I talked to had to pack up all their guns and go home. Who knows , maybe they’ll get lucky and some Sap will buy one on line.
Outrageous. Double the crazy price midway charges.
