Going to a GUN SHOW, but you can't bring a GUN!?!?!??? What's up with that?
"Firearms, registered or unregistered, machine guns, rifles, shotguns, antique firearms, black powder rifles, black powder shotguns, or any muzzle-loading firearms, and/or weapons of any kind as listed in Section 265.01 of the New York State Penal Law, or any other dangerous or deadly instruments or weapons, are prohibited from the Fairgrounds, except for those authorized to be carried by law enforcement personnel and Peace Officers.
EXCEPTION: Visitors attending organized Gun Shows at the Fairgrounds may possess firearms in an unloaded and safe condition when involved in the purchase, sale, or trade of said firearm(s)." (Emphasis mine)
Nice to know, once again, that there are two classes of people in the United States.

Met Eddie ( @Bullet Guy ) didn't have time to chat, place was pretty packed. I did well, didn't buy anything (just picked up my EG15 lower). Some prices on things at other tables were a bit much, but I've been spoiled by Internet pricing.
Surprised to still see Nazi merchandise for sale.. I realize it has historical value but (dumb) people tend to equate gun owners with Nazis.

Yeah, I was there when you picked up your lower, too bad you didn't have time to chat.
I picked up a fiberglass M14 stock, some enblocs, a parts kit and a couple of other parts.

I stopped and said hello to Eddie also. Didn't chat too long though, as you said, it was very busy in there today. I only walked out with a couple of items. I too am spoiled by internet prices. I don't mind sporting the brick and mortar places but I won't pay a 20+ % mark up either.

My wife had fun. We brought a first timers and his daughter. They loved it. I left with smoked, stuff meat, pickles and a ar500 steel target with stand.

At the table I bought the M14 stock the young lady behind the counter said, " I love your jacket, where did you get it?" I replied, "Afghanistan." She pouted then said, "thanks."
It was a good show, I go down there twice a year to see a couple of vendors and BS with them. I walked the entire show, then had lunch with @Bullet Guy and left about an hour later.
