So.... I've wanted to build an AR45 for some time... Unfortunately the current mentality everywhere may prohibit that attempt. Lol

So path of least resistance may be to just get a ready made one (kind of).

But I know nothing of the manufacturer or reliability of this Thompson 1927A1...

So let me know thoughts!

They were heavy and expensive back in the day. Each one cost the u.s. $70 I think. Expensive for the time.

If I could find a lower that takes the Thompson straight mags, I'd consider building an AR45. Most now take the Glock mags. Not really an issue, just more I'd have to get

The best design I have seen uses the old grease gun mag! Was an 80% but worked very well...

Haven't looked up the site since all this NY BS, figured I'd wait and make my wish list for when I'm out. First year is gonna be big spending on building up the collection. Lol... Including a suppressor! Republicans better take the midterm or the coming AW Ban might wipe out those plans... What a ckusterfuck anymore!
