You get all the retailers who were threatened to band together and sue the shit out of NYS in federal court for restraint of trade, extortion, deprivation of rights and anything else you can think of.
And you don't sue to get an injunction to make them stop. You sue for millions in *damages* for the harm they have caused.

As a retailer myself, I would get behind the effort. However, TSUSA is one of my biggest competitors, idk if they would be happy about working with me on something like this. What do u think?

I've always said "if you have to flee your home to keep your rights....". I understand you position, however. It's hard to fight when there is no support, and no end in sight.
Sadly, I'm one of those who will most likely never be able to leave. Between family and finances, I'm stuck.
They can either work with their competitor to re-open an illegally closed market and hope for part of the proceeds, or they can sit on their lawyers (laurels?) and get 0%. If they were smart, they'd band together with others to fight this tyranny.
It's not just the AG.
You have to fight each and every corrupt member of the NYS Legislature, and likely their bought-and-paid-for judges.

It depends on the individual store. Some want name, address, d.o.b., occupation, and a list of each caliber of ammo you’re buying, with quantity, mfg and lot number if applicable. My favorite shops don’t do this. Some places demand photo ID, which is just silliness.

The FFL is supposed to retain this info on site because the electronic system that the NYS gov legislated does not exist yet. The FFL’s record keeping is supposed to be some form of record approved by NYS, but it’s largely undefined and overly vague. So most places are using a clipboard and a sheet of paper.
