I'm kidding, jeez.

Seriously though.Ok then it's settled.
My wife is a nurse and firearms aren't allowed where she works and she wouldn't be comfortable carrying one all night in that situation anyway but she can carry a stunner in a case on her waist without question and the employee handbook doesn't ban them.No you're not grounded yet. Serious question, what situation could you see yourself in that you would rather have a taser over your handgun?
That's called foreplay.Domestic dispute?

Better to ask for forgiveness then to beg for permission!
Seriously though.
Let's say you're a coach at your local high school.
You basically have 3 choices.
"concealed is concealed" where your risk of being exposed by some accident and going to prison for a felony is much higher than your risk of needing the gun.
"be disarmed" which has all the usual pitfalls.
"carry something that's not a gun" Where the Taser fits in as one of the better options.
Taser is better than pepper spray. If you are slicing the pie on what is legal to carry in those situations I'm not sure if a taser is legal but INAL. Legality aside if you cannot carry a gun there are better options than a taser. Knife, space pen, heavy flashlight (D cell mag light) even pepper spray among others.
I'm pretty sure that the proposed guidelines they're writing up for these things will limit you to having them at home only. You wont be able to take them anywhereYou could presumably bring it places legally a pistol can’t go. I suspect you could also “brandish” it in situations in which displaying a gun would be a felony but I am not a lawyer.
Even if what you say is true, the penalty for non compliance is likely to be much lower.I'm pretty sure that the proposed guidelines they're writing up for these things will limit you to having them at home only. You wont be able to take them anywhere
Well that's the great unknown.Even if what you say is true, the penalty for non compliance is likely to be much lower.
Getting caught with a Taser at your kids high school basketball game will be a lot less painful than a gun.
1:55I carry Sabre basically everywhere I go off my property.
A pen? Yes, that too. For self defense?
