I'm looking for a mid sized wheel gun for those days that I'm not going to carry around my large framed 444UL's.
I have a mdl 37 snubby, but want something lightweight with a longer barrel and +p rated.
I searched around and found the Taurus 856 defender ultra-lite with a 3" barrel, night sight and a choice of finish.
Small frame, 6 shots of 38+P and just over 20 Oz's loaded with 158 JHP.
It checks every box in my list.
Anyone here own, handled or shot one ?
Maybe know of one thats in stock in a local GS that can be handled ?
With the wait time of getting handguns in NYS now, I'd like to get the ball rolling so I can maybe get it before 2022 !
