This is a good example of why gun safety and gun laws should be taught in schools. there is a good chance he did not know that BB guns were considered a firearm and crossing the school parking lot was illegal.

The teen was carrying realistic looking BB guns? Yep they look like BB guns to me, very realistic BB guns as a matter of fact. They shoot BBs and everything.

What a way to ruin some kids life. Too bad the officer, for whatever reason other than evil intent on the part of the "weapons" carrying youth, did not use some discretion. Oh my goodness did I say discretion - how dare I even suggest it! Hopefully the prosecutor will drop any and all charges if it is found there was no ill intent.
He received a ticket. Not sure if this amounts to life ruin....
My guess, he goes to court and next to nothing court bad will come upon him.

Now, if he is convicted of whatever charges, yes there is an excellent chance his life will have been ruined over BB guns. What a shame our fucking society has fallen so low due to paranoia over firearms as for it to have expanded to BB guns.

I bet if he wants a pistol permit in 5 years this will give him serious trouble.
So he'll lose a constitutionally protected right for something that 50 years ago wouldn't have even raised an eyebrow.

This kids stupid. I’m surprised he did t get shot. The pistols look pretty really to Me and the riffle could look real from far enough away or I trained eyes.
