I got ya, the way I read it sounded racist. I wasnt trying to bust your balls, just looking at it from a perspective of being the best representatives of the 2a and freedom we can be and not wanting to "scare away" potential allies.

Now you sound like all the gun and ammo companies that refuse to ship to NY. This was in Nassau county, not the city. Long Island is not NYC, Westchester is not NYC. Tired of getting lumped with them and there overbearing regulations. Overbearing, even for NY.

This is entirely accurate. NYC tells you what color your guns can be and the list is pretty short. I don’t feel the need to paint my guns funny colors so I do t care too much but anyone should be able to paint their guns any color they chose so this bothers me on that level greatly. It’s another way to disarm people and it’s truly sad.

Not to sound like I'm backing any kind of firearms restrictions but I think the intent of this reg is since a toy gun has to be certain colors they dont want a real gun to appear to be a toy gun.

It would be hard when something like this happened already. Pellet guns are also just as lethal is regular guns.

Pretty simple, don't point toy guns at strangers in public.
