Supreme Court 6-3 Decision Eliminates Concealed Carry Restriction & State Defiance!!!
Yeah, he seems like an intelligent dude, but I see these video titles and immediately get soured. I realize I will actually be very disappointed in whatever he has to say since it won't be anything positive about our situation here in NY.WHAT Supreme Court .. just name it and stop the click bait titles ..
Rarely does he have anything of substance to say either, just repeat after repeat of the same nothings.Yeah, he seems like an intelligent dude, but I see these video titles and immediately get soured. Half the time I just bypass them now for ones that are at least a LITTLE better... but all of them remind me of the "BREAKING NEWS" crap from the sham 'elections' in 2020.
No one even knows I’m armed when I worship and I can guarantee you if I was going into battle I would have more than a pistol, a knife, and 51 rounds on me.Between them, Heller and Bruen identified a total of five presumptively “sensitive places” – “schools,” “government buildings,” “legislative assemblies,” “polling places,” and “courthouses.” Each of these locations is owned or tightly controlled by the government, and used for express, limited, governmental purposes.
Finally, Defendants’ claim that people should not “meet and worship God ... armed as though for battle” is belied by the overwhelmingly broad historical tradition – from the Founding era – of colonists and early Americans doing exactly that.

You know the answer to that question.if some of them can carry in the capital then why can't others ( WE )
are we not equal ??
To be honest, what else can they do right now since the courts are allowed to drag this out over MONTHS.Rarely does he have anything of substance to say either, just repeat after repeat of the same nothings.
I realize he's a content creator, but a lot of them are becoming just as bad as MSM; creating stories that aren't there. If there's nothing new to report, don't report anything. All of these "breaking news" reports are getting old when all that really happened is that a justice sneezed or something. To be honest, what else can they do right now since the courts are allowed to drag this out over MONTHS.
There is no update to be had, unless some poor soul is jammed up by these unconstitutional laws.
More of the same…. Or are we still waiting for scotus because they all know how scotus will rule?BREAKING NEWS, THIS JUST IN,EPIC,
BREAKING NEWS, THIS JUST IN,EPIC,
I don't understand why none of the lawsuits in NY challenged the exemption of retired law enforcement being exempt from the sensitive and restricted places. This is being challenged in Illinois in their Assault Weapons Ban under the Equal Protection Clause and so far both a federal judge and state judge have ruled it unconstitutional saying that carving out exceptions for certain citizens but not for others violates the Equal Protection ClauseHochul proposes ‘technical’ changes to concealed carry law
Albany, N.Y. — Gov. Kathy Hochul is seeking a number of “technical” revisions to New York’s contested concealed carry laws, including allowing armed security guards at places of worship and providing clearer guidelines for retired law enforcement officers in good standing to possess a firearm in a “sensitive location.”
- Feb. 03, 2023,
The proposals were included in Hochul’s executive budget, released Wednesday, and seek to update the state’s retooled concealed carry laws, enacted in July following a U.S. Supreme Court decision striking down the state’s longtime rules governing the possession and concealment of firearms in public.

Yes I just read that. It's as if there isn't another Bill Of Rights for people depending on where they work. His clickbait titles irritates me.Rarely does he have anything of substance to say either, just repeat after repeat of the same nothings.

YUP! She was probably told by her soldiers to back off or all of the other communist states will be doomed by her own ass whoopin coming from the SCOTUS, whenever that gets around to happening. If anything reaches the SCOTUS, that sets it up for the whole country, not just NY. But by backing off, it will only stay within NY. We`ve all seen NY do this in the past. And they will keep doing it for other cases so that they become "moot".here we go again .. hey judge we changed the law .. case is moot now ..
What if weapons are part of my religion ?Between them, Heller and Bruen identified a total of five presumptively “sensitive places” – “schools,” “government buildings,” “legislative assemblies,” “polling places,” and “courthouses.” Each of these locations is owned or tightly controlled by the government, and used for express, limited, governmental purposes.

That won’t change that we are second class citizens in NYS. We will have gun rights but I’ll still be hated by her and I will still pay way more taxes than I ever get services worth out of here.Until we see the NY UnSafe-Act AND the CCIA, BOTH 100% destroyed, NY people will STILL be second class citizens.
I agree with you @spat ! I posted this back in a 2A thread in December…What if weapons are part of my religion ?
And that's not just sci-fi with the mandalorians.
The Sikhs have a millenia old tradition of *requiring weapon possession at all times*. Most people are familiar with the turbans (idiots mistake then for Muslims, who don't generally require turbans) but also highly important to their religion is that men are armed at all times. In modern practice this is satisfied by carrying a ceremonial dagger. I can't are any reason why a sect couldn't change that to a pistol as a modern interpretation.
