Terry McAuliffe is fighting in a tough election, the country isn’t doing well and Democrats have control of the White House and Congress, margins are razor thin in Virginia and the Democrats will stop at nothing to win the governor’s mansion. Missive gun control groups like Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Guns have pledged nearly $2 million to keep the state of Virginia in the hands of the gun control lobby. This group originally dropped $1 million on Terry McAuliffe’s race in 2013 and $2.5 million in 2019 on legislative races.
