Not just in NY. LTC holders in MA have received the same Texts. First give away that it is a scam is that in MA they are not called pistol permits

Interesting. My coworker got a text yesterday. It read...
"Tomorrow Dec 22 is the last day you can request a Concealed Carry CERTIFICATE in your state. Get yours in under 30 mins qmdozb.me/?91808"

She doesnt have a permit or know shit about guns. I explained to her the mega fail in this. Firstly it's obvious it's a mass text as they don't even know what state you're in. And then NY doesnt have a "Concealed Carry CERTIFICATE". And lastly there is no state that is ending giving out permits lol. Some states make it nearly impossible to get one but none have just said no. These scammers sure do have balls. They are choosing to fuck with a demographic that well... has guns.

When in doubt, call the place they claim to be from, but directly. If they claim they're the PP office, I'll call the PP office directly. Clears it up real quick.
