I think this was a necessary step and they expected it.

You can't go after people for hiding the evidence until you prove they are hiding it.

So asking them to send it, and them refusing was basically step 1.

I’m sure the little man will catch a shit ton of flack back home. He will most likely come back a little humbled and polite.
I doubt the majority of his country’s leadership want to be left reliant on just Europe for their survival considering the past track record.

I dont remember all the details of why, but my best friends dad came here after fleeing Poland after WWII. It was the Soviets that drove him from his home land after the takeover but he had a much deeper hatred for the Ukrainians. I have to wonder if the rest of Europe had similar feelings.

According to sources Zelensky was quiet and calm until Trump and Vance unloaded on him. It was Trump being unhinged and starting the argument and shouting like the immature dictator he always was.
Zelensky was just trying to get help to keep Russia from absorbing their country, and Trump is just Putin's bitch. Putin is going to roll over Ukraine and then set his sights on Poland next. All he wants to do it take back the Soviet territories.

I think within 30 days or so, Zelensky will either flee Ukraine or be killed, or both.

There are too many people upset that the gravy train is ending. Despite what the commie media says, his people are going to blame him.

You're reading this waaay too superficial. Zelenskyy has been given free reign with briben in the Oval Office. briben basically gave Zelenskyy a blank check for as long as he wanted the war to continue. Hell, the war made Zelenskyy, briben and the NGO cronies richer. Zelenskyy even campaigned for briben, and JD called him out on it in the heated exchange.

This is all information Trump knew long ago. What Zelenskyy doesn't comprehend is the fact there's a new sheriff in town. And Trump is NOT going to be pushed around for one second, ESPECIALLY on national TV on the world stage. As soon as Zelenskyy said he doesn't want a truce, he doesn't trust Putin, and all he wants is a contract with the US committing security and boots on the ground he opened the door for his smack down. There was an unsigned verbal agreement for the mineral deal. That was the reason for the meeting, the lunch, and the ceremonial signing of the mineral deal after lunch. Once Zelenskyy tried to change the terms of the deal on the world stage, Trump was going to have none of that.

Trump will not, under any circumstance, commit US forces to a foreign war that the US has already paid to support and the Ukraines can't even account for the entire $180 billion dollars given to them, without giving some type of repayment to the US taxpayer. The checkbook is closed. Rightfully so. And Zelenskyy acting all arrogant, self important, and entitled, was his undoing.

Trump and JD handled that public display perfectly. The left, and you too apparently, can spin it any way you want. That entire debacle was a negative for Ukraine and Trump/JD told them, and the world, that Trump means business. He's protecting the US at all costs. We are number 1, the way it should be. The Ukraine is not even a member of NATO.

Please don't assume that what I relay from leftists I converse with is in any way my "spin".

I am merely passing on the beliefs held by the leftists I converse with so others here are aware of how the actions of this administration are viewed.
People should be aware of what others think/believe, whether or not they agree with it.
Knowing what mindset someone else has makes it easier to interact with them.
