I was following this from back when they started. Didn’t know if it ever came to be. Still in production. I don’t think it’s prudent to use the stamped version of that platform. Even if the trunnion bolt and carrier were bomb proof, what’s to protect your face in the case of an out of battery discharge? I have seen the Barrett, Bushmaster (Vulcan not withstanding) receivers survive even considering the sheer power of the .50 bmg round. And you know somewhere along the line, some cowboy, somewhere is gonna add that third pin to the trigger control. Fun concept though.
