The beautiful "ignore" tab..but..

Yes this is a great option for the ones you can't stand, or talk shit, or are the know it alls or disliked from the "other forum" or whatever damn reason lol. BUT..why do I still gotta see their avatar and name when they post something? It shows them as normal but a blank post with "click to view ignored content". If I ignore, I ignored them them, I don't want to see their avatar I don't want to see their anything about them, it makes me want to jump through the Internet line and beat theirs wifi router down to the ground lol. Is there a way to tweak it in this forum software to actually not show them at all? If I want unignore them or read the comments I'd unignore them through my Settings. Seeing the avatar and that they posted just taunts the soul when you know it's just another snippy dumbass remark that you wanted to ignore for peace of mind in the first place. What chu know bout it @NYGuns maybe??Lol. Anyway, obviously not a big deal because I don't unignore, (one, two strike theory for me and gone for ever heheehe) but just a thought or question.

LOL this post made me chuckle I don't think that's possible as it's built into the core of XenForo, but I will investigate further to see.

I used to ignore 3 people but then I realized that I was missing out on content after clicking on the show ignored content tab. Some of the content actually made sense and caused me to see a particular subject differently. So I unignored everyone.

If a post is offensive or stupid, I either respond to it and give the poster back what he deserves or ignore it on my own and move on to the next post.

It's much better that way. Using the ignore feature is what snowflakes do when they want to crawl into their safe spaces where everyone says only what they agree with.

That is totally incorrect. You know my style, I enjoy the banter. The few that are ignored are due to their past life postings at the other land from days yonder or ones that got involved with heated stupidity that got me banned in the past..and I want nothing to do with those kinds..so it's not an "agree with me or be ignored" feature for me.

Nope, it hides EVERYTHING for me. I wanted to test it and see if there was a css class that was added to a parent element of the avatar and stuff that you didn't want to see so I could give the admins a CSS snippet to add that would hide them for everyone, but I can't replicate what you're seeing unfortunately.
