...that I have seen in quite awhile is $104.99 for 500 rounds of Armscor 22 WMR JHP (actually SJHP in my estimation) from SurplusAmmo.com and it comes with free shipping (at least as I type). They do not ship directly to buyers in NYS but will ship to your FFL which means an additional $10 will be added to my final cost for a brick of this ammo. Even then, that is an excellent deal especially in light of the fact that others as low, or close to it, in price charge shipping (almost guaranteed to be more than $10 and no guarantee they will ship directly to the buyer in NYS). I also note that some dealers are still selling this same ammunition for up to $174.85 per 500 rounds (source as I type). This ammo was recently selling with its lowest price at about $148.99 per brick and I do mean as recently as a month or two ago. I am hopeful this deal is a harbinger of other companies considerably dropping their prices on 22 WMR as well. I am also keeping my fingers crossed that 22 Mag will drop to about $75 per brick once again but that may just be a pipe dream.
I have ordered from Surplus Ammo before and they have been prompt with shipping. I expect the same this time around since their site says they are processing non-firearm orders in 1-2 days. I have also found their customer service to be excellent.
I wanted to order 1,000 rounds (only $204.99) but cash is extremely tight right now. Somebody please buy that Ruger 10/22 I am selling!
