This stupid op-ed is a good example of the slow creep of the antis. Demonizing a .22LR. what most of learned to shoot on. Crowing about how it is light and that equals deadly! And the bullshit line about killing groups of people "instantaneously". Yeeaaaah, no. A fucking atomic bomb kills large groups instantaneously, as would a MOAB or napalm perhaps.
When they can shift their focus and go after the venerable .22 without feeling stupid, then "hell yeah we're coming for your guns"....

this isn't a 1st or 2nd Amendment issue, this isn't an educational issue, THIS is a cultural issue.

The educational system has been cultivating a culture of ANTI-GUN for the last 30 years. reversing this trend is going to take a monumental effort.

people like Bloomturd, Clinton, Pelosi and schumer are perpetuating this culture because they believe it will get them votes. Pro-gun people need to get the kids outside, shooting, educating them. this 'culture' needs to change

I will second @Jmac00 , this is an issue that has very little to do with Rights of all Americans.

Statements and opinions like this are everyday opinions because of the indoctrination of an entire generation.

If someone wants to disagree with, for example this Oped, they are shot down; quickly.

Just a bit of education and research would show that this is a simple firearm. A simple firearm for a simple mission.,

No one would ever use this gun as a weapon of mass destruction.
