Every once in a while a Trap shooter will show up with one, and while they work great, one really needs to be paying attention to what they're doing else it's not going to go as planned. I wouldn't recommend one to anyone less than expert, and no one with arthritis or physical limitations to their Hands.
I like trap. Tried one. Didn't like it. I know superior expert shooters who run a strait 25 on them. The concept made me nervous compared to shooting rifles and handguns.
I used to shoot a lot of trap when I was pretty young and never had an issue. I could go 22/25 when in my mid teens. That was with guns too big and too heavy for me too.
Crazy, I just found out about these things yesterday while reading through the NRA Precision Pistol rules where they're banned. Seem good for accurate shooting, but like it would totally mess up and crosswire valuable muscle memory.
