The Georgia Senate passed legislation last night requiring an ID with absentee voting.
Last night the Georgia GOP led senate passed a bill requiring absentee ID – identification for all absentee ballots. They passed this. It was SB67. They passed it 35-18 along party lines. That means if you send in an absentee ballot… now you have to have a photo ID. You have to send in your ID picture. You have to have a Georgia ID, license or government-issued license on the absentee ballot. This was a huge win. The vote was initiated by Republican Senator Larry Walker… Without the deplorables in Georgia this never would have happened.

To counteract that, we also need to pass laws that mandate that "poor people" who cannot afford the nominal cost for a photo ID be allowed to get one for free. They just need to go down to their local DMV office and bring enough documentation to obtain a REAL ID just like the rest of us! That, and enough documentation to prove they are poor, - you know, - like tax returns, W2's (IF they actually work), and so on.

That way, they can have NO EXCUSE for not having a valid and verifiable government issued picture ID.

ID to vote is an infringement, but a prostate exam to possess a handgun in NY is not.
