Not even sure there is any means they could even know how many guns were even sold new before Nixon was President, let alone who bought them then (in sporting good or camping stores, many auto parts stores, most catalog showrooms, many department stores, all kinds of mail order stores, Army-Navy surplus stores, country drug stores, factory outlet stores, pawn shops, etc) or susequently in free states since.

You shouldn't post personal pictures on social media, period. You're aiding people who want to hurt you in so many ways. The last picture of me on social was when I had a beard. I don't have a beard anymore. (Also, I can't really anymore with the CPAP so not even a choice.) Better that I don't have an updated picture.

I've heard stories of ATF copying/scanning 4473s during compliance inspections.
I assume .gov knows what I have and try to keep a low enough profile that they don't have a reason to come for me.

I do not think I have ever posted a full picture of myself on line. A few here in there of me in costume or masked.
When I was selling, the ATF came in the store or nearly a week. They copied each and every form and downloaded all computerized records.

Honestly with all the comms we all have daily, they know who we are and where. I'm not looking to hurt anyone, so I doubt they have interest in me or quite frankly most of us.
However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't be in "close contact" with one another. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but at some point things could start ratcheting down. We should all take pause at that possibility.

I try pretty hard to meet as many in person as possible. Birds of a feather and all of that jazz.
I have hundreds online and I do not give one rip what they know or do not know..... If they want you they will get you no matter what. My cousin was the chief of detectives under Higgins, he could sit in front of your house and hear every word you spoke inside. The have satellites that can catch you in you back yard picking your nose.. No one is on an island or private.
Let's see, I have a DL, a Passport and a gaggle of other photo ID's over my years! The have all the biometrics to create a facial ID without my knowledge. Pictures of firearms, ehhhh! Big deal!
