The gun owner equivalent of finding $5 in your jeans pocket

So, here at the Fnfalguy house, the wife and I are getting ready to spend some time with @OnSight Firearms Training at the range this weekend. I’m pulling aside some long gun cases and grab one that feels heavy. Really heavy. For a brief few seconds I’m doing a mental inventory to try and imagine what it could be. I unlatch the two clasps and then very dramatically for myself and the unenthused dog watching me, snap open the two locked latches and lay my eyes on my prize. Sadly not a Poyer import that slipped through my precise inventory system. Nope, 500 rounds of factory .44 mag ammo. Still a pretty exciting find. My lever action won’t have to go hungry.

And I’ll never admit it, but I may have too much stuff.

Something similar happen to me awhile back! I picked-up a valise out of the safe that I got from the NRA to go to the Gun Show with, it to was heavy 3 boxes of Fiocchi 223 and 4 boxes of 50gr Federal 22 magnums! This was from the last Gun Show!

I felt so good about finding it that I ordered 100 rds of Lapua 6mm BR today in celebration.
