I wanted to get a Galco shoulder holster so i placed a WANTED AD on the Local hunting forum, it didn't matter what it fit because if I didn't have a gun to fit, I'd buy one.
I got a response for a Galco Jack-Ass leather shoulder holster used only a couple of time for $60, it will hold a Glock 17 which I had my eye on for a little while so not having one I put one on lay-away at Bud's guns. New $550 with free shipping to my FFL Guy. They mailed the gun today so it should arrive tomorrow or Thursday. I'm thinking about taking Friday off, If I do I'll pick it up then, If I decide to work Friday I'll pick it up Saturday on the way home from the antique tractor show.
I have a bunch of factory 9mm ammo and tons of once fired brass, so some 9mm reloading will begin here shortly.
I did trade a thousand pieces of 9mm for a six hundred 38spl & 400 357mag brass. I still have a couple of thousand pieces of 9mm left, a new set of dies, bullets, powder & primers so I'm set for target practice. If it is comfortable I might carry this gun when the weather gets a little cooler. If it isn't comfortable to carry this way it will be a plinking gun. One consolation it does hold 17 rounds, but my Glock 20 - 10mm holds 15.
I'll post a picture of it after i pick it up.
